STOTT PILATES is a contemporary version of the teachings of Joseph Pilates, the originator of Pilates.  Marcy teaches the five principles of Pilates, starting with focus on breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, shoulder placement and neck placement. Pilates is an excellent way to train in a multi dimensional style, focusing on many different muscles of the body all while maintaining perfect posture, spine, etc.  Doing Pilates Can actually help you lengthen the spine and make you taller and helps prevent osteoporosis and the shrinking of the spine. It also will help you increase flexibility and help with back and or joint pain, all while strengthening the entire body.
